The dynamic duo of Cindy Walas and Kevin Keane partnered again to present a Learning Experience session entitled “Has AR Really Gone Mainstream?” at Print 17. Their talk centered on new ways to keep print relevant in today’s digitally oriented world. They demonstrated how print can move from being flat and one dimensional, to being THE most economically feasible, and most widely available platform for richly immersive multi-media PRINT + Digital engagement via “Connected Print!”
Cindy Walas teamed with Erica Aitkens of Rods & Cones in a three-pronged AR promotion – a feature article in an upcoming digital edition of Rods & Cones’ Out of Chaos magazine, the very first AR-enhanced PRINT Edition of Out of Chaos, and a joint presentation at the VMA Design Conference 2017. The VMA session shared experiences in creating and matching Rich Media in both formats, as well as the future of AR. Catch a recap of the session HERE
